  • When did Curt go missing?

Curtis was last seen in the early morning hours of July 5, 2000 where he was working as a security guard at Venture Corporation.

  • How old was he when he disappeared?

Curtis would have been 41 on July 11, 2000.

  • Why do you think he was murdered?

Over the last several years we’ve received tips that he was murdered during his shift at Venture Corporation after coming across someone vandalizing while on his rounds. The police have confirmed that they have received this same information from multiple sources. We never doubted that he had been killed from the first we heard that he went missing…but it was years later when we received informatoin to confirm this.

  • How did he disappear?

Curtis was last seen in the early morning hours of July 5, 2000 where he was working as a security guard at Venture Corporation.

  • Why couldn’t he have just run off?

Curtis disappeared in the middle of his shift at work, leaving behind his cigarettes, lighter and contact lens solution. He suffered from Multiple Sclerosis which limited his mobility. No taxis or buses reported going to Venture Corporation that night. His credit cards and accounts have not been accessed since he disappeared. All of these factors, plus our families belief he would never leave under these particular circumstances leads to the conclusion that he did not survive the night. In addition we have received tips confirming he was murdered during his shift.

  • What do the police say?

  • When and why was he declared dead?

The Certificate was issued April 15, 2008 and stated the date of presumptive death as July 5, 2000.

  • Is there a reward?

There is a $5000 reward for information that directly results in the return of his remains. Please report any information that relates to his disappearance and the location of his remains to our tip line 877-51- FINDCURT or to the NH Crimeline at: (603) 474-2640

  • Who do you think is responsible for his death?

The tips we have received have given us the name of the perpetrator and his accomplices. In various public online forums his name is used repeatedly. However since no formal charges have been filed we will refrain from using his name for legal reasons.
